Privacy Policy
How Conversational IQ handles app data, website request data, and direct support email.
Last updated: March 22, 2026
Privacy Summary
- Conversation audio is processed on-device. Conversational IQ is designed not to keep saved session audio recordings as part of normal use.
- Saved app data stays on your iPhone. Session metrics, recaps, preferences, and voice enrollment stay local unless you choose to export them.
- No in-app accounts or cloud sync are required. The app does not need an account to save or review sessions.
- Website visits and support email are separate. If you visit the public website or email us, that information is handled separately from app session data.
- You control deletion from the app. Privacy and deletion requests about website or email records can be sent to us directly.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the Conversational IQ iPhone app and the website at conversationaliq.app.
The app is designed to keep conversation analysis as local as possible. The website exists to explain the product, publish support and privacy information, and receive direct email from people who choose to contact us.
Information We Collect
Conversation Audio and Live Analysis
Conversational IQ uses your iPhone microphone to analyze conversations while a session is running. In ordinary app use, conversation audio is:
- Processed on-device using Apple frameworks
- Not uploaded to our servers as conversation audio
- Not kept as a saved session audio recording
Live Speech Recognition Text
Live speech recognition may create temporary text on-device during a session to support pace or coaching features. Conversational IQ is not designed to save full conversation transcripts as part of normal session history.
Voice Enrollment
To recognize speakers, Conversational IQ stores a short enrollment audio sample and derived voice profile on your device. These artifacts stay on your iPhone unless you delete them through the app.
Session Metrics, Recaps, and Preferences
Conversational IQ stores app data locally on your device, including items such as:
- Talk time percentages per speaker
- Turn-taking metrics and flow scores
- Speaking pace and session duration
- Saved recaps, session names, tags, and notes when you create them
- Preferences and voice-enrollment settings
Public Website Visits
This refers to the public website at conversationaliq.app, not hidden website activity inside the app. If you visit the site, basic hosting infrastructure may receive technical request data such as IP address, user agent, referrer, and timestamp. That website data is separate from any app session data stored on your iPhone.
Support and Privacy Email
If you email us, we receive the information you send, such as your email address, message content, and the time of your message. We use that information to respond to you and handle support or privacy requests.

How We Use Information
- To run the app and show metrics, recaps, history, and insights on your iPhone
- To maintain preferences such as live-session defaults, exports, and deletion controls
- To serve the public website and handle normal website requests
- To answer support, privacy, or deletion questions you send us
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use app conversation data for advertising or cross-service tracking.
Data Sharing
App session data remains on your iPhone unless you choose to export or share it.
If you visit the website or email us, that information may be visible to the services and people involved in hosting the website or replying to your message. We do not sell that information or use it for advertising.
Third-Party Services
The app does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Conversational IQ relies on Apple frameworks for core functionality, including:
- Core ML for on-device speaker identification
- Speech for live speech recognition that may support pace or coaching features
- AVFoundation for audio processing
The website may rely on standard hosting, networking, and email infrastructure to serve pages and receive messages.
